The Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in a community development program --- working together to improve the economic, civic and cultural well being of the area. Membership in the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce is an opportunity to have your business referred (we receive numerous calls and written inquires wanting specific buying information).
Other benefits include, but not limited to, publishing Chamber Membership Directory, publishing a City/County map, ribbon cuttings, furnishing community profile and various data used to encourage businesses to locate here.
First and foremost, the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce belongs to its members. We prefer to call our members investors or partners - because of the volunteer dollar commitment which has been made by you in order for us to operate community-minded programs for the good of the area.The Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce is a not for profit business organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as such under IRS code number 501c(6). So, your dues investment means that the dividends gained are used for programs based on consistent progress.
