Chamber of Commerce Community Awards

Awards will be decided based on the information provided by those people submitting nominations.  All information, including supporting documents and character reference letters will be taken into account. An anonymous committee of community members, chosen by the Chamber's Executive Director, will be the deciding votes.  The recipient of the award will be announced during the Chamber’s Annual Banquet.

The Awards

Citizen of the Year

Someone who engages in the community, having a positive impact on the community and the citizens through one or more extraordinary acts.

Business of the Year

A local business with good morale among staff, growth and development, community involvement, stellar customer service and outstanding management.

Educator of the Year

An Educator, Paraprofessional, Administrator or Childcare Provider who goes above and beyond to help a child know his/her worth, promotes a healthy mind and body, that has positively impacted the life of a child or group of children.

Volunteer of the Year

The person you know who gives selflessly and endlessly to help others.

Non-Profit of the Year

Entity with a clear mission or purpose, outstanding fundraising efforts, leadership with a reputation of excellence, holds the highest ethical standards, and proves to be beneficial to our local community.

Ambassador of the Year

Ambassador member who has gone beyond the call of duty to serve the Palestine Area Chamber of Commerce and its members.

Marketing Super Star of the Year

Business or organization producing great, purpose-driven content across digital and social platforms, with a growing & loyal following and shows positive & uplifting behavior in their work.
